Awesome Holiday in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is an awesome city to visit. I have three reason why I said that. The first is because of its nightlife, the second is about its museums and the last is because of the festival which are held in the city every year.
The night life in Amsterdam is so great. There are venues, dance festivals and club night that match with every taste and usually led by Dj. The Djs (Disc Jockey) usually keep the crowd dance wildly by playing the music in every genre, it could be techno, dubstep, hiphop, r n b, funk and also house music. This is suitable for someone who is really interested in dance music. Looking for the night club in Amsterdam is very easy because of the incredible popularity of the nightlife in the city. They are literally everywhere, and there are very many of them. Anywhere you walk in Amsterdam, you will most likely be able to find a nightclub. If you are not interested in clubbing, walking around the city is not a bad idea to spend your night. By walking along the river or the bridge, your eyes will be satisfied by the beauty of the light at night. The lights which decorate the canals will show such a various color and make a great combination of lights. Spending the night in the hotel is also a great idea for whom don’t like to hang out in the club. You can read books beside the pool with the cold beer nearby, have good foods in the hotel’s restaurant or just sit down and relax in front of our room is also an interesting thing to do.
Amsterdam makes sure that it keeps every single things which come from the past and also the unique things. It’s like in every country in the world, the city keeps the historical or unique things in the museum. It has over 50 museums which keep historical things and become popular places to visit among the visitors. The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House and the Stedelijk Museum are the most popular choices, but there are many interesting small museums which are also nice to visit. Beside the ancient things, you'll find exciting modern art, press, film, theatre and photography museums and some unique Dutch treats like the Heineken, Ajax Arena Tours and the Houseboat museum. And Amsterdam wouldn't be a “real” Amsterdam without the interest of the Sex, Erotic, Hash or Torture museums. There is also a museum that is dedicated to the kids. It’s called NEMO, a hands-on science and technology museum housed in the unique, boat-shaped building. It has many fun things and lots of kid sections.
Amsterdam is well known as the leading cultural center of Europe. The city holds many festivals every year. It could be music, dance, fashion, food or cultural festival. Amsterdam offers an impressive total of 90 festivals every year. Most of them are unique and attract many visitors. The “dance music” thing is a most wanted festival every year in Amsterdam. The city provides the dance music festivals from the beginning of summer through the end of autumn. With the world best Djs, Amsterdam dance music festivals will make you sure to have bouncy beats. Some of the festivals are free to see yet there are some that not free. Generally, we have to pay around 85€-200€. It covers the entrance ticket, festival’s facilities or even foods during the event. Sometimes we think that the ticket price is very expensive but if we compare with the experiences we get, the price is nothing.

Visiting Amsterdam is my dream because this city provides everything I want to do. I can spend my night luxuriously in the high-class way by hanging out in the club, visiting ancient and unique museums and enjoying so many best festivals in the city.

The Only One Canteen

Canteen Seru is the one and only canteen in kampus bawah which provides some kinds of food and drink and also we can see various activities of the people during the weekdays. When we come to canteen seru, we’ll see the kitchen tools, food and drink which were served there and also the people’s activities. They have various snacks, crackers, breads, noodles and mixed rice as the main course. For the drink, they have some kinds of hot and cold drink such as coffee, tea, milk, ice tea, orange juice and the other kinds of ices. Not only food and drink, they also have kitchen tools like stove, bowls, spoons, forks, spatula, knives, pots, plates, frying pan and glasses to support the activities there. In canteen seru we also can see the sellers do some activities like preparing the foods, serving the buyer or cleaning the dishes. While waiting for the food, the buyers can have chat with their friends or have some snacks. There are 2 sellers who in charge in canteen seru. They’ll help us to have what we want. They are flexible, it means that they can be cashier nor waiter. We just need to order the food and we can wait while the sellers prepare the food for them. After eating, make sure that we already pay our food in cashier. The food and drink have different taste. And sure they all are delicious. If you want to have them into your favorite taste, you can ask them to make it more spicy, salty, sweet or crispy. The delicious smell of the food sometimes disturb us while we are studying. It can makes us hardly struggling against the time. It often makes the student want to escape from the class. The smell of burning food, delicious, and spicy is like the devil that can disturb students’ concentration. And also, the smell of fragrant drink makes the students cannot endure their thirsty feeling. Canteen Seru is exactly the place to feed the students’ hunger but sometimes it disturbs the students’ concentration to study during the class.

The Final Writing of "Free Hugs Campaign"

There was a man with a black coat walking in the crowd and wanted to share his love to everyone he met . He has long and curly hair. The man who wears that round spectacle walked alone and brought a sign with him. “Free Hugs” were the words which were written in that white board. In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effect of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal. He wanted to give his free hugs to everyone he met. At the beginning, everybody thought that he was crazy or under a medical treatment. There’s no one noticed him. But, the condition was changed when an old lady started to hug him. The man who brought the sign suddenly gave his hug to her. After that, he was started to give his hug to anybody else. Many people came to him and hugged each other. This is a very touching moment when everybody started to share their love by hugging somebody else. This action was growing until many people did that. Not only hugging, the other people like the youngsters also helped him to spread the word. Some boys held the “Free Hugs” sign and noticed the other new people.
But, this action seemed a bit out of the law by the police. So, they banned this action. Maybe the police thought that the man was trying to spread a Satanism trough persuading people and ask them to hug each other. The thing wasn't like that. The way to make the police believe was by writing a petition. It was supported by the people. The supports were showed when the people started to sign the petition. 10.000 signs! There were a lot of people agree and supported this action. Because of that, the police couldn’t say anything. This “free hugs” campaign ran well without any problem. And then, many people were hugging each other.

I can learn many things from this campaign. We may not underestimate somebody who we don’t know yet. Whether he or she has long/short hair, bad clothing, we have to respect each other. The main point is to share our love to other people. By hugging someone else, we have shared our love and spread positive feelings to others. For your information, the people in Paris also do the same things on every Valentine’s Day.

No Place Like Room

My room is exactly my paradise. That’s the place where I can do everything i want. I usually spend most of my time there. I feel so special and comfortable in it. Despite of its size is not so big, i can feel the joyness. On the right side of my room, i put my bed and also the matress. That’s my favorite spot because i can lean my body beside the wall. I have no exact design of my room because it’s just a simple room.

I put my cupboard on the left side of my room. After that, i set my table in front of it. I always put my bed beside my cupboard. So if I’m late, i wont waste lot of time to change my clothes and take a bath. And then, on the right side of my room i hang a mirror. I use it to do the final check before going out like combing my hair or anything else. And the last, to memorize my high school moment, i put my shirt which is signed by my friend in high school on my table.

Unforgettable Moment

I will never forget the moment when I said the truth of my feeling to my girlfriend. 25th August 2013 was the day when this moment written in my memory. This is not a romantic story of mine. It just an ordinary story for the others yet it was so special to me. It was really horrible and awkward. But, because of the horribleness it became so special. This was the first time I talked in front of a girl about my feeling. I used to text or call someone to say “I Love you”. So that’s why it was a bit challenging. I prepared something special for her. I bought a bouquet of white “aster” flower for her. I wouldn’t buy red roses because that is too mainstream.  I had prepared a speech to be said in front of her. When the time had come, I invited her to have food. We went to Mailaku for having dinner. I didn’t order heavy food because the situation made me forget about my hunger.  Potato wedges and coke float were my food which accompanied me. I had a strong feeling that she liked me too. It can be shown when I saw her smile across my face. Our conversation was a bit flat and sounds boring because I had nothing to talk with her. When we had a silent moment, I tried so hard to remember my speech and all of the words that would make her sure about my feeling.
When we felt that we had nothing to talk about, we decided to go back home.  In the car, I tried to be honest and told all of the things I had prepared. “Mia, I have something to say, I want to be honest with you that….” After word ‘that’ I couldn’t speak as much as I thought. She answered curiously, “That? That what?”. I was so confuse to answer her response. So I just spoke and chose the word randomly which popped up in my mind. “No, I just wanna say that you’re beautiful”. She laughed after listening my answer.
I thought that I wouldn’t be brave to say it. But, because the time went so fast and it got darker and became so late, I convinced myself that I should say it. On the way to her house, I parked my car on the side of the road. Then, I spoke out loud that I like her. After that I took my flower and directly gave it to her. She was quite surprise. I knew that she was a bit doubt about everything I had done but I tried to convince her. The most awkward moment was when I asked “Will you be my love?”

Finally, the simple ‘yes’ from her was the reason that could make me stayed up all the night. And that moment won’t be forgotten in my life.

It's easy to clean your messy room, just follow this magical steps. First of all, get yourself ready, mentally and physically. After that, you have to be focus and serious.
